Learning these positions will help you to master the guitar fretboard.
How to use the fretboard diagrams in Yellow Guitar Books:
- Guitar scale fingerings are shown.
- Play these notes starting with the lowest
note on the thick E string and play up to the highest note on the
thin E string, one string at a time.
- The root is indicated by a color
depending on scale type.
- Each position represents a different way to play the same guitar scale in a different area of the fretboard. Positions can be combined and moved in any combination you desire.
