How to use the fretboard diagrams in Yellow Guitar Books:

• Play these notes starting with the lowest note on the thick E string and play up to the highest note on the thin E string, one string at a time.
  
  
• The root is indicated by a color depending on scale type.
  
  
• Each position represents a different way to play the same guitar scale in a different area of the fretboard. Positions can be combined and moved in any combination you desire.
