It's The Journey, Not The
Destination...........
Playing guitar is really something that brings
reward and satisfaction over the long haul. When people first get
started they want to learn as much as possible as quickly as
possible. That's a good thing because with the right tools and a
fair amount of effort you can make remarkable progress on the
guitar. I see it all the time in my students and in my own
playing.
Over time new and interesting things just keep
coming for you to learn and enjoy almost like magic. One thing leads
to another and another and another. All of these things you learn
become part of you and it's something very special. Special because
this knowledge is yours to use and nobody can take that
away.
So please try to think of your quest as a
guitarist while reminding yourself- that "It's the
journey, not the destination that makes it all worth while.
Quote for the Practicing Guitarist:
Well being is
obtained little
by little, and is no little thing itself.
